MagicQ Compact Connect
The MagicQ Compact Connect is a lightweight USB control surface designed to interface with your PC or Mac, enabling you to manage lighting, media, and LEDs effortlessly.
Despite its compact size, the Portable Compact Connect is a feature-rich device that can easily fit in hand luggage. It boasts two direct DMX512 outputs and can transmit up to 64 universes of ArtNet and sACN directly through its integrated network port, eliminating the need for additional licenses or dongles. The Compact Connect's user-friendly design offers illuminated access to fixture parameters using 8 rotary encoders and facilitates live show control with 10 playback faders, including Flash, Go, and Select buttons, as well as dedicated Grand Master and Crossfader controls for managing overall levels. With additional features like an internal USB hub, audio input, a 10Scene/Remote Input port, and a working light socket, it provides enhanced connectivity and convenience.
The Compact Connect is well-suited for touring Lighting Designers and can also be seamlessly integrated into various environments such as theatres, schools, clubs, studios, and venues. This cost-effective solution combines tactile playback control with the capabilities of MagicQ software, which can be operated on Windows, Linux, or OSX.
